CHAD
Anthrologica supported the development of Afé Hana Iyalna (“For the health of our children”), a community-led nutrition promotion initiative designed to strengthen the Cash for Protection (C4P) programme in Chad. Developed through an iterative process combining formative research, co-creation, and field-based prototyping, the initiative was shaped directly by community participants and grounded in principles of voluntary engagement and local leadership. Recognising existing community knowledge, credibility, and motivation, the approach moved beyond traditional SBC programming to promote peer-to-peer learning, collective community action, and social diffusion to improve maternal and child nutrition practices in fragile and food-insecure settings.
