Anthrologica conducted a literature review to identify social and cultural norms and other factors influencing the sustained practice of COVID-19 prevention behaviours in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The review was designed to be of operational use to UNICEF and partners, and to inform their Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) strategies in response to the COVID-19 crisis in the region. The review consulted academic and grey literature and media sources in English, Arabic and French.
