Anthrologica developed a policy note for the World Food Programme (WFP) to guide the integration of Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) across its Strategy to Improve Diets and Address Malnutrition (2024–2030). Commissioned by WFP’s Nutrition and Food Quality Service, the policy note articulates the critical role of SBC in improving nutrition outcomes in humanitarian and development contexts. Drawing on global consultations and co-creation workshops, Anthrologica outlined how SBC can be embedded across WFP’s operational pillars and strategic pathways, and provided a roadmap for institutionalising SBC within WFP systems. The policy note has been used to strengthen internal commitment and drive forward SBC as a core component of people-centred, nutrition-sensitive programming.
