Anthrologica conducted an organisation-wide consultation for the World Food Programme (WFP) to identify the barriers and enablers to planning for nutritionally adequate household food assistance. The study included key informant interviews and focus group discussions with WFP staff at headquarters, regional bureaus and selected country offices. Anthrologica analysed the data to assess how nutritional adequacy was considered in operational planning and to identify the levers of change that could support the adoption of nutrition standards across contexts. The findings informed actionable recommendations and contributed directly to the development of WFP’s Nutrition Strategy.
