Somaliland
Anthrologica conducted a series of studies that supported the work of the Tropical Health and Education Trust in Somaliland. We conducted the final evaluation of the EU funded programme ‘Developing the capacity of Non-State Actors to support the rebuilding of the health system in Somaliland’ and the Comic Relief funded programme ‘Rebuilding capacity in post-conflict Hargeisa and its community to bridge the gap between the rural and urban poor and their referral hospital. Both evaluations provided comprehensive and critical analyses drawing on the best-practice criteria of the OECD-DAC to determine the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the programmes.
